Even as technology presents great promise, there are pressing concerns over diversity, privacy and the ethics of technology.
The Telegraph will be delving into these topics during its two-day Technology Intelligence Live virtual conference on November 10-11.

10:25 on 10 November: Rewriting healthcare in a post-Covid world panel
The lessons learned from coronavirus could be the catalyst for a rethinking of how healthcare should work. There are many technology businesses using tools like video calls and artificial intelligence to make healthcare even more efficient and we’ll hear from a number of them during this panel.
The Telegraph’s Harry DeQuetteville will be speaking to Ali Parsa, the chief executive of Babylon Health as well as Microsoft’s chief medical scientist Junaid Bajwa, Glamorous AI founder Noor Shaker and FacultyAI’s chief commercial officer John Gibson.
12:00 on 10 November: Innovating with impact fintech panel
The UK is a world leader in financial technology start-ups such as Monzo and Revolut which are remaking banking from the ground up. Could these companies hold the key to boosting the economic recovery as businesses across the UK recover from the pandemic and continued lockdowns?
This panel, hosted by James Cook, will find out how fintech is continuing innovation in 2020. The panel will include Rishi Khosla, the chief executive of leading fintech start-up OakNorth as well as Monzo investor Eileen Burbidge and Trystan Tether, a partner and the head of banking & finance at Bird & Bird.
09:05 on 11 November: Sir Tim Berners-Lee keynote
Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, is still passionate about how the Web works and is embarking on a new project named Solid, which aims to help people keep their personal data private and out of reach of the clutches of technology giants.
In this keynote, Sir Tim and co-founder of Inrupt John Bruce, will talk about how we can take back control of our data.

11:15 on 11 November: Beyond connectivity 5G panel
We’re on the precipice of widespread use of 5G which promises to revolutionise the way we use everything from smartphones to driverless cars.
In this panel, The Telegraph’s Robin Pagnamenta will speak to Openreach chief executive Clive Selley and Nokia UK and Ireland chief executive Cormac Whelan to find out which businesses are set to be at the forefront of the 5G revolution.
11:45 on 11 November: Discriminating systems: the continuing problem of diversity in tech interview
The rise of technology start-ups has led to millions of investment and thousands of jobs, but there are serious issues with a lack of diversity in the sector.
