Elon Musk has temporarily limited the number of messages that Twitter users can read, and those who pay for the service get ten times more access.
Telsa's CEO said the tech firm has imposed read restrictions to deal with «extreme levels» of data scraping and system manipulation.
Musk said on Saturday that verified accounts are temporarily limited to reading 6,000 messages per day, adding that unverified accounts and new unverified accounts are limited to reading 600 messages per day and 300 messages per day, respectively.

It comes after Twitter announced it would require users to have a social media account in order to view tweets, a move that Musk, 52, called on Friday a «temporary emergency measure.»
