    British women banned from using social networks on the eve of the final of the World Cup

    England, women will start turning off social media from Wednesday when they fly to Australia for the World Cup final.

    The team is known to have been instructed by England manager Sarina Wigman and Kay Cossington, FA Women's Technical Director not to post on their social media accounts while in the tournament. However, players can post content directly related to the England Women's Team, such as posting from their official accounts, and this will remain in effect until the end of their World Cup campaign.

    Telegraph Sport understands that several players are now temporarily remove social media apps from your mobile phones while focusing on the upcoming tournament.
