Haval M6 prices announced for Russia: the crossover did not become the cheapest in the range

The title of the most affordable Khawail in Russia was held by Jolion. “Emka” is offered in our only configuration with a one and a half liter turbo engine, but you can choose a box.

New for the Russian market, the Haval M6 crossover was officially announced by the local office of the brand back in April. Now the prices have been announced, in addition, pre-orders are open on the Havala consumer website: the first cars will appear at dealers before the end of July. By the way, there is not a word about the Tula plant in the release, so SUVs are brought to us directly from China. Recall that the Haval M6 debuted in its homeland in 2017, the cross was made on the basis of the first generation H6. At the end of 2020, the emka went through a restyling, simultaneously receiving the “surname” Plus, but there is no prefix in the Russian Federation.

In terms of its dimensions, the SUV is close to the deceased Russian-made Nissan X-Trail . The length of the Haval M6 is 4664 mm, the width is 1830 mm, the height is 1729 mm, and the wheelbase is 2680 mm. The claimed trunk volume is 808 liters (from floor to ceiling), with the rear seats folded down, this figure will increase to 1,700 liters. The crossover «stands» on 17-inch wheels.

The Russian division of Haval also noted that the model has been adapted for our market. In particular, the main elements of the body, the wheel arches and the lower part were treated with an anti-corrosion coating.

The crossover was offered to the Russians with an uncontested petrol turbo four 1.5, which produces 143 hp. and 202 Nm (in China — 150 hp and 218 Nm). But you can choose a box — a six-speed mechanics or a seven-speed «robot» with two clutches. But the drive is only front-wheel drive (there are no all-wheel drive versions even at home).

Haval M6 is available in a single configuration, it includes: LED optics, ESP, traction control, analog gauges, heated exterior mirrors and front seats, multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, climate control, rear view camera, rear parking sensors, a pair of airbags, cruise control. The crossover is presented in three body colors — white, black and gray.
