The new sedan Geely Galaxy L6 appeared on branded images

The Chinese four-door has a laconic exterior design. The model will be offered as a hybrid.

Early this year, the Geely holding company announced a new Galaxy family, which will include exclusively electrified cars. The first-born was the Galaxy L7 hybrid crossover, unified with the “traditional” Geely Boyue of the second generation (in the Russian Federation, the predecessor is called Atlas Pro), it has already gone on sale at home. And soon the Chinese will be offered a second «galactic» model — the L6 sedan. In the pictures of the local Ministry of Industry, the four-door was revealed in June, now branded images have been published.

The sedan has a rather “calm” appearance, features – an electric car-style front (the radiator grille is located at the bottom of the bumper), a luminous strip that combines the headlights, retractable door handles and taillights made in the form of a single die. Another feature is two glass sections in the roof. In addition, the sedan has a separate logo designed for the Galaxy line: a rectangular «shield» with gray cells.

The model is based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform, developed by the Chinese together with Volvo. The length of the Geely Galaxy L6 is 4782 mm, the width is 1875 mm, the height is 1489 mm, and the wheelbase is 2752 mm. That is, in terms of its dimensions, the sedan is not far from the restyled Hyundai Elantra. , but spies had previously looked into the salon: the four-door got a vertical multimedia system tablet, like other recent Geely models (including the Galaxy L7 cross).

The Galaxy L6 sedan has a hybrid installation. According to preliminary data, it includes a 1.5 petrol turbo engine (163 hp), a pair of electric motors and a three-speed DHT Pro transmission. The system can work in serial or parallel mode, but the drive is only front.
