Avtoteka and EuroAuto: which cars are more likely to visit service stations since the beginning of 2023

Avtoteka car history check service (Avito project) together with EuroAuto, a spare parts marketplace and one of the largest service stations in Russia, analyzed the number repairs of new cars (up to 5 years) at the enterprises of St. Petersburg of the EuroAvto network. Below are the results for the mass, premium and luxury segments.

Ssang Yong, Seat and GAC were seen on the service less often than other cars in the mass segment

Ssang Yong, Seat and GAC visited the service on average 1 time in 6 months. More often — Daihatsu and Ravon: they were repaired more than 3.5 times during this period. So Daihatsu Terios (J2) models came to the car service 4 times, and Ravon R4 — 4.5.

The leaders of the rating in premium brands, the owners of cars of which came to service stations less often than others, were General Motors and Chrysler. The Volvo brand is ranked 3rd (1.4 visits), followed by Infiniti (1.5) and BMW (1.6). More often than others, Jaguar and Mini needed repairs (1.8 times). Owners of the Mini Clubman F54 visited the car service more than 3 times, and the Jaguar XF — an average of 2.3.

In the first half of 2023, Rolls-Royce and Alfa Romeo owners entered the service station on average once. The outsiders of the rating were Tesla Model 3 and Mercedes Benz GLE COUPE C292: their owners came for service more than twice.
