The 59-year-old actor has reportedly spent millions of dollars on «vanity projects,» including repairing the pool, a recording studio and rebuilding the staircase at Chateau Miraval four times.
Nouvel, the company founded by Jolie before the actress sold it to the Stoli Group, is suing Pitt and his «accomplices» for $350 million ( £271 million).
Lawsuit filed in California on Monday alleges that Pitt «engaged in increasingly outrageous activities to maintain control» of Miraval by «taking» his assets from him.
Former Hollywood couple who have six children , purchased the Miraval estate, located in the village of Corrin in southeastern France, for around €25m (£21.3m) in 2008. The couple married at the estate in 2014. .

Lawyers for Nouvel allege Pitt's 'wrongdoing' escalated after Jolie sold her stake in a vineyard, which was owned through her company Nouvel, to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler's Stoli Group for $61m (£49.6m) in 2021. .
The 'Fight Club' star accused his ex-wife of doing it 'behind his back' in a February 2022 lawsuit after they agreed to sell their shares 'only with the consent of the other sides.»
Joli denies making such an agreement and claims she sold it to regain «financial independence» from the star.
«Outraged that Jolie sold Nouvel to Stoli and not to him, Pitt behaved like a naughty child, refusing to treat Nouvel as an equal partner in the business,» according to a document first obtained by the Financial Times.

The company claims that Pitt spent «nearly a million euros a year on the permanent restoration of the stone walls with the help of masons from Croatia» and about 3 million euros (£2.5 million) on unspecified expenses such as «sewing work».
He accuses Pitt of «developing a so far successful plan to take de facto control of Château Miraval» by expelling Stoli from the company by refusing to appoint neutral directors of the firm.
Nouvel's representatives also blamed Pitt in conducting a «xenophobic, false smear campaign worthy of [Vladimir] Putin himself» against Shefler, who they say was forced to flee Russia for criticizing the Kremlin.
Pitt's lawyers have previously argued that Jolie did not contributed significantly to Miraval's success, but «stand by while Pitt invested money and equity in the home and business.»
In a recent court document, Nouvel's attorney said, «Jolie and Pitt's support is what made the brand Miraval successful… Pitt is an actor, not a winemaker. He deals with illusions, not mud and grapes.»
Pitt's representative was approached for comment.
