The Evolute electric car brand was created by Motorinvest last year, the assembly of the “green” was established in the Lipetsk region: now the i-Pro sedan and the i-Joy cross are being produced under this brand, that is, slightly redesigned “Chinese” Dongfeng Aeolus E70 and Fengon E3 EV ( aka Seres 3; Fengon is a joint venture brand of Dongfeng and Sokon; Seres is owned by Sokon). In 2022, the i-Jet SUV and the i-Van minivan (and these are also Dongfengs) were spotted, but the third Evolute, which will get on the conveyor of the Russian enterprise and go on sale, will be another crossover – the i-Sky. This five-door was officially announced last spring, but now the price has been announced, dealers have opened orders.

Like the rest of the Evolute models, the i-Sky electrocross is a model of the Dongfeng concern: Forthing Thunder received other emblems and nameplates, and the donor SUV debuted relatively recently – at the end of last year.
The length of the new Evolute equal to 4565 mm, width – 1860 mm, height – 1680 mm, wheelbase – 2715 mm. That is, in terms of its dimensions, the SUV is close to the Toyota RAV4. The i-Sky has McPherson struts up front and independent rear suspension. Passport ground clearance – 175 mm, trunk volume – 480 liters. Claimed curb weight – 2025 kg, full – 2345 kg.
The crossover is offered only with front-wheel drive, the model has an electric motor with a capacity of 204 hp. (340 Nm) and a battery with a capacity of 85.9 kWh. Power reserve – 511 km on the WLTP cycle. The first “hundred” Evolute i-Sky will pick up in 8.6 seconds, the maximum speed is 180 km/h. There are three driving modes for cross-country (ECO, Comfort and Sport).

There is only one package, it includes: LED optics, 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, leather interior, a driver's seat with ventilation, a massage function and settings memory, a combined virtual tidy and a multimedia system touchscreen (each display is 10.25 inches), six airbags, climate control, all-round cameras, car parking, full-time DVR, cruise control, lane change assistant, blind spot monitoring and warning of a frontal collision and other cars when reversing cross traffic. The recommended price for Evolute i-Sky is 4,615,000 rubles. Taking into account the state subsidy for Russian-assembled electric cars, the price can be reduced to 3,990,000 rubles, but for this it will be necessary to arrange a purchase on credit from a bank that participates in the program.
