Climate activists spray black and yellow paint on private jet parked at Ibiza airport on Friday evening by completely covering the windshield.

Protesters from Futuro Vegetal and Extinction Rebellion said three of their members walked onto the airport runway on Friday morning, doused the plane with paint and forced the runway to close for several hours.

Photos show protesters using fire extinguishers to paint the plane, reportedly worth over £10 million, black, yellow and pink before standing on its wings and ignite flares.

“Your luxury = our climate crisis,” reads a banner held by one of the protesters.

On Twitter, Futuro Veguetal wrote: “This is how one of the activists expressed herself at today's Extinction Rebellion Ibiza. “The planes of the rich are a luxury that we cannot afford.
