A new all-wheel drive modification of the Chinese brand's crossover is available on the Russian market in two versions – Elite and Ultimate.
The Celestial crossover Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max entered the Russian market at the beginning of this year. This model has several visual differences from the car without the addition of Max to the name: we are talking about a different grille and a modified front bumper; in addition, in the cabin, the more recent version has a scoreboard that combines a virtual tidy and a touchscreen of a multimedia system. More recently, it became known that the range of the SUV will be expanded due to the all-wheel drive modification with other equipment.
On the photo: Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max AWDAs Kolesa.ru reported earlier, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max AWD received a 1.6-liter TGDI petrol turbo four under the hood. Its return is 150 hp, and the maximum torque is 275 Nm. By the way, the Exeed LX AWD crossover is equipped with the same engine. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive SUV takes 10.2 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h.
For comparison, the front-wheel drive versions that were previously presented on the Russian market are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a return of 147 hp and a maximum torque of 210 Nm. This engine is paired with a stepless automatic. From 0 to 100 km/h, this SUV accelerates in 9.8 seconds (which is 0.4 seconds faster than the 4×4 version).
As the local Chery representative office told today, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max AWD will be presented in Russia in two trim levels – Elite and Ultimate. By the way, the same versions are available for the front-wheel drive SUV, while it is also presented in the medium Prestige version, which is not offered for the AWD variant.
The list of equipment for the all-wheel drive crossover in the Elite launch version (unlike the same version of the front-wheel drive crossover) includes: a surround view system with the function of displaying images from any of the cameras on the entire screen, front parking sensors, wireless charging for a smartphone, multi-color backlighting in cabin and Chery Connect telematics system. Recall that it allows you to remotely start the engine, track the location and condition of the car, open/close doors, save or delete the history of trips. >
The new SUV in the Ultimate version (unlike the front-wheel drive version in the same version) has an electrochromic interior rear-view mirror, illuminated roof rails, as well as an advanced security complex, which includes the functions of keeping the car in the lane, informing warning about danger when opening doors, warning about the risk of rear impact and rear cross collision.
Vehicles are offered with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, full LED headlights, power folding side mirrors and turn signal repeaters, leather seat trim, a full “winter” package, dual-zone climate control with an improved air filtration system. The top version also has a panoramic roof with a sunroof and a curtain, as well as an acoustic system with eight speakers.
As noted in the Chery office, the recommended retail price of Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max in the Elite version is 3,199,900 rubles, and the purchase of the top-end Ultimate package will cost customers 3,399,900 rubles. According to the current price list, the front-wheel drive crossover in the starting version can be bought for 2,759,900 rubles, and the top version costs 3,039,900 rubles (prices do not include current promotions).
