July is a busy month for Russian drift fans. On the first weekend of July, the 3rd stage of the Grand Prix of the Russian Drift Series (RDS GP) took place in St. Petersburg. Next was the stage of the inter-regional series RDS EUROPE in Kazan. And this July marathon of controlled skidding will continue the 4th stage of the RDS GP on the ADM Raceway track near Moscow – this weekend on July 22 and 23.
The battle for the leading position in the overall standings
The last stage of the RDS GP had a significant impact on the balance of power in the individual and team standings. The leader in the championship race among pilots has changed, and in the battle for the title of the strongest team, there is a tight fight between the three teams. ADM Raceway opens the second half of the season, and in such a fierce battle for the title, every point scored will be valuable.
The favorites of the 4th stage in Myachkovo will be the pilots of TAKAYAMA FORWARD AUTO Georgy Chivchyan and Roman Tivodar: the first has already won the ADM Raceway, and the second has won the qualification, so they know this track very well. Timofey Dobrovolsky, a newcomer to the series, who previously competed in Myachkovo as part of RDS EUROPE, is also familiar with the circuit – a young driver who has already proven his potential at the last stage, is quite capable of delivering another pleasant surprise.
Much can be expected from Carville Racing rookie Anton Kozlov. He also knows the track very well in the junior series RDS EUROPE, knows how to fight with the leaders of the RDS GP, and therefore will be among the contenders for victory. Like the current RDS GP champion Arkady Tsaregradtsev, the leader of FailCrew x Darkseid is full of desire to return to the championship race.
An opportunity to rehabilitate for SINTEC • Fresh Marketplace
The ADM Raceway will give the SINTEC • Fresh Marketplace pilots a great chance to reassert themselves as contenders for victory. Damir Idiyatulin won at this track both in qualifying and in pairs, and therefore we can safely expect him to return to the leading positions.
And it is in Myachkovo that Evgeny Losev may be among the leaders. For him, the struggle for victory in qualifying and at least a place on the podium are the norm, and therefore the long-awaited return of the Siberian security official to the group of leaders can take place on a well-known track for the pilot.

No less attention will be riveted to two more teams of the Grand Prix of the Russian Drift Series. The pilot of LUKOIL Racing Drift Team Grigory Gusev will finally take to the start of his new BMW 3 Series in the E92 body. This is a unique project by the standards of Russian drifting – a German sports car with a right-hand drive and a cult 2JZ under the hood. How this tandem will show itself is one of the intrigues of the upcoming stage. As well as the performance of LUKOIL Racing Drift Team recruit Denis Sorokopud, who a year ago, while still in the status of an RDS EUROPE pilot, won the first RDS Wild Card in history and, thanks to this, “went on a promotion”. What progress he has made over the past year, the young pilot will show at ADM Raceway.
The STAR PЁR STARS AIMOL team will try to keep the momentum gained in St. Petersburg. The victory of Charles NGa and the podium of Dmitry Ermokhin at the 3rd stage showed that the team is determined to fight for high results. Is it possible for Charles Ngu to win the second consecutive victory in the RDS GP on the Russian hypercar Flanker F? Will the team be able to rise to the prize podium again? Answers will give two racing days in Myachkovo.
Judges' brigade RDS GP 2023
The composition of judges at the stages of RDS GP 2023 is constant. Maksim Akhtyamov, Anton Novikov and Vladimir Safonov work on the refereeing tower, they have vast experience in both refereeing and drifting. All three are active athletes playing for the WEGO DRIFT TEAM in the RDS EUROPE championship.

About ADM Raceway
ADM Raceway has been known since the early 2000s when the territory of the airfield “Myachkovo” began to be used for motor racing. During its existence, the track has undergone several upgrades, and in 2018 the circuit was opened after a large-scale reconstruction. The track is homologated by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) in the FIA Grade 4 category – this is the closest international-level circuit to Moscow.
On the Myachkovo track, and subsequently on the ADM Raceway, auto racing in various classes is invariably held – from the RTCC touring car series to formula and karting tournaments. For more than ten years, the autodrome has hosted drift competitions – the main national championship RDS GP and the interregional series RDS EUROPE.
