Nevada police searched a house outside of Las Vegas in connection with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur almost 30 years ago.
Tupac, one of hip-hop's biggest stars, was killed on September 7, 1996 as a result of shooting from a passing car. He was 25.
Officers investigating an unsolved murder at the Las Vegas Police Department served a search warrant in the nearby town of Henderson on Monday.
Aden Department spokesman Ocampo Gomez said may not provide further details on the latest developments in the case, citing an open investigation.
There is no statute of limitations in Nevada for prosecution of murder cases.
Tupac was shot dead in a black car, when he stopped at a red light near the Las Vegas Strip. A white Cadillac drove up to the rapper's car and opened fire.
After receiving four shots, Tupac was taken to the nearest hospital, where he died a week later.
There were no arrests. was done in connection with the murder.

Tupac is considered one of the most influential and talented rappers of all time. In a five-year professional career, he has received six Grammy nominations and has released five US No. 1 albums, including three posthumous releases.
In 2017, he was inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Snoop Dogg.
In June this year, Tupac received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In May, the city council of Auckland, where Tupac lived in the 1990s, named a street after him.
He has sold over 75 million albums worldwide and has over 10 billion video and audio streams.
