Over the past few years, almost all classic sports car manufacturers have added crossovers to their range, and all of them are exclusively five-door. We decided to imagine what a version of such a model, closer to the canons of sports, could look like.
Urus is the first crossover of the Lamborghini brand, its premiere took place at the end of 2017 at the company's plant in Italy. It also became the production version of the concept of the same name, presented back in April 2012, and largely retained its design. By the way, shortly after the release of the model on the market, we tested the Lamborghini Urus on the race track. Since then, the crossover has received several new versions, the most productive of which is the Perfomante with a 666-horsepower engine. It was she who was taken as the basis for the renderings of the three-door modification.

The crossover received a slightly lowered roofline for an even sportier silhouette. The roof itself was made contrasting, and the shape of the side glazing became new due to the modified window sill line. The wheelbase remained the same, while the doors became much wider. Another original element is the “hidden” door handles from the Lamborghini Huracan sports car.

The Urus is built on the MLB Evo modular platform, which is also used by the Audi Q7/Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg crossovers. At the same time, Lamborghini is significantly lighter than its counterparts due to the use of carbon fiber. The sports SUV is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine manufactured by Audi, which develops 650 hp in the basic version. and 850 Nm of torque paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

To be fair, the three-door Urus already exists, it was demonstrated earlier this year by tuning studio Mansory . True, this car is made relatively clumsily: it retained the C-pillars of the body (located behind the rear doors) and the direct connector of the side doors, but we depicted a possible factory version with more significant processing.

Meanwhile, the Italian company is preparing an even more powerful modification of the Urus, which will become a hybrid with a total output of more than 800 hp . Also last spring, the premiere of the new 1015-horsepower flagship supercar of the company, which received the name Revuelto, took place.
