German tuner Mansory has unveiled another monster project, this time based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. aerodynamic body kit, and the engine was boosted from 650 to 900 hp
A couple of weeks ago, Brabus, famous for tuning Mercedes, suddenly introduced the 900 Rocket R coupe based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S — the number 900, as you might guess, indicates the maximum engine power. Atelier Mansory has never specialized in any one brand, its portfolio includes projects based on models of almost all leading automakers in the premium and luxury segments, including dozens of various Porsches, and the P9LM EVO 900 supercar was clearly prepared by Mansory specialists as a response to colleagues from Brabus.
It’s up to you to decide which of the competing projects is better, but, you see, it’s hard to deny that the Mansory supercar attracts more attention thanks to its brutal widebody obverse, which, with its shape and texture, resembles alien monsters from the science fiction films Alien. Mansory designers have given the Porsche 911 Turbo S all-new bumpers, with the job visually combined with the “whatnot” at the stern, which is slightly reminiscent of the legendary Porsche 959.

The rear bumper also features a completely new diffuser with integrated triple tailpipes. All air intakes have been enlarged for better engine and brake cooling. Changed design of daytime running lights. The new exterior mirrors are shaped to generate additional downforce at high speeds. The humpbacked central air intake at the stern is another hello to the Aliens. Gradient coloring combined with the texture of forged carbon emphasizes the complexity of the aerodynamic tail. Finishing the look are Mansory FV.5C openwork forged wheels — 21-inch on the front axle and 22-inch on the rear. Tire sizes are 255/35 ZR 21 front and 335/25 ZR 22 rear.

The 3.8-liter 6-cylinder petrol boxer in the stock Porsche 911 Turbo S produces a maximum of 650 hp. and 800 Nm, and on the Mansory P9LM EVO 900 supercar, its output is increased to 900 hp. and 1050 Nm thanks to more efficient turbochargers, an improved cooling system, new intake and exhaust systems with reduced resistance and a new control program. An 8-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission, all-wheel drive system and suspension are adapted to the enthusiastic power. Acceleration to 100 km/h was reduced from 2.7 to 2.5 s, top speed increased from 330 to 340 km/h.

The interior of the original Porsche 911 Turbo S is completely refurbished with quilted and perforated leather, while non-leather surfaces are decorated with lacquered carbon fiber. The steering wheel has a reshaped rim, it has become thicker and «skater», a digital speedometer, tachometer and gearshift indicator are integrated into the upper carbon fiber part. Quilted rugs with Mansory logos are laid on the floor.

Mansory plans to make only ten copies of the P9LM EVO 900, but after the coupe, a convertible with its own aerodynamic body kit is also promised. The price of the supercar is reported only at the request of the client, but if you keep the focus on a similar coupe from Brabus, then we can assume that the Mansory P9LM EVO 900 costs about half a million euros.
