Zaha played 458 times in two spells at the South London club, scoring 89 goals, but turned down a serious offer to stay at Selhurst Park.
Palace were confident they would keep Zaha, but there is now growing confidence in Turkey that they will be the ones to get the 30-year-old.
“Official talks have begun with professional footballer Dazet Wilfried Armel Zaha to join our club,” Galatasaray said in a statement.

Zaha turned down the offer and was said to want to stay in Europe, and now looks set to continue his career in Turkey after Galatasaray's confident public announcement.
