The manufacturer notes that over 270,000 people contributed design ideas, and that many of them were interpreted by CUPRA's stylists to form this metaverse-created concept car. What is certain is that even before it can be seen live at the great German event, it has some features that will be implemented in the future electric models of the Spanish brand.
Longitudinal ribs of the hood, brand logo placed along the central edge and illuminated, or three cardinal triangles of headlights — here are some of them. We'll see the latter on the updated Formentor, Leon and the new Terramar.
CUPRA didn't want to show the back of the concept, but you can see the optical clusters connected by a thin light strip, with sharper, more angular shapes integrated into the back panel and very colorful thanks to OLED technology. But DarkRebel also has a detail that is key to the brand's design. The aerodynamic shape of the silhouette opens up a real world of possibilities, from the compact that replaces the Leon, to the family or great sports car.
No shots of the interior yet, which should be as revolutionary as the exterior. But we lie that at the Munich motor show it will be revealed, as well as the technical characteristics of the model. CUPRA is a Spanish brand of electrification and sportiness, two qualities that are leading for the brand, and this concept car promises much more than it seems.
