In the Russian market, the cross-coupe of the Chinese brand will be offered only one version of the “stuffing” – a 2.0-liter turbo four, which is complete with seven-speed robot.
The crossover officially presented today in the Russian Federation in the Chinese market is sold under the name Yaoguang (sales of new items in the Celestial Empire started in February of this year). Its export version was named Exeed RX. The company announced the entry of the cross-coupe to the Russian market at the end of March, the technical details were declassified in June, and now the local representative office has unveiled the starting price tag of this SUV.

The recommended retail price of the Exeed RX premium crossover in Russia is 5,400,000 rubles. The model will also be available in a Limited Welcome Edition, which will receive a special body color (“Moon Grey”). Buying a special version of the cross-coupe will cost customers at least 5,600,000 rubles.
Exeed RX is based on the new T2X platform, which is based on the M3X architecture. Recall that it also underlies the closest “relative” of the novelty, we are talking about the large Chery Tiggo 9 crossover. As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the Exeed RX has a new CDC suspension with adjustable damper stiffness. This SUV has an independent MacPherson strut suspension with an anti-roll bar at the front, and an independent multi-link at the rear.

The overall length of the Russian version of Exeed RX is 4781 mm, width – 1920 mm, height – 1671 mm; distance between axles is 2800 mm. For comparison, the related Chery Tiggo 9 stretched up to 4820 mm in length, up to 1930 mm in width, and up to 1699/1710 mm in height (depending on the version); its wheelbase is 2820 mm. It is worth noting that the RX interior is designed only for five riders, while the Tiggo 9 also has three-row versions. />
In the cabin, a large curved display with a total diagonal of 24.6 inches is located on the front panel: it combines both a virtual tidy and a touchscreen of the infotainment system. The model received leather seats with various electric adjustments, adjustable front seat headrests with built-in acoustics, and an air freshener. Both rows received heating and ventilation functions.
The crossover is equipped with a non-alternative 2.0-liter turbo four, the output of which in the Russian specification is “tax-friendly” 249 hp. (the Chinese version has 261 hp), the maximum torque is 385 Nm. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This SUV takes 7.6 seconds to accelerate from standstill to “hundreds”. Top speed is limited to 200 km/h. The Exeed RX security package includes more than twenty ADAS systems, the list includes: adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance function, assistant when driving in traffic jams, lane keeping, lane change assistance and a number of others. The car is equipped with front and side airbags, curtain airbags, a knee airbag for the driver, as well as a front center airbag.
The all-wheel drive crossover has seven driving modes: Eco, Standard, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand and Off-Road. The warranty for Russian owners of Exeed RX is 7 years or 200,000 km.
