Currently, the «sporty» SUV is only available in one country. The new modification is offered with a more modest list of equipment, so such a cross turned out to be cheaper than a model with a standard design.
This year the Chinese concern Great Wall decided to celebrate the second anniversary of its presence in Thailand (brands Haval and Ora). Not exactly a milestone event, and yet it is timed to coincide with a new version of the compact SUV Haval Jolion – Sport. By the way, a locally assembled crossover is sold on the Thai market, and it initially differs from the model available in Russia (for the Russian Federation, the model is produced at the Tula plant of Haweila): the standard local Jolyon has a different grille and head optics, in addition, there the SUV is exclusively in the form hybrid HEV (without the possibility of charging from the mains), while we have «traditional» cars. But back to the «sport».

Cross added aggression. So, Haval Jolion Sport received a grille with vertical stripes and more impressive bumpers, plus new headlights appeared (they are like our SUV). Almost all chrome decor was replaced with black, and 18-inch wheels are also made in the same color. The car itself can be not only black, but also white, gray or red.
Haval Jolion Sport < p>Inside, the «sportsman» as a whole repeated the usual hybrid Jolion, except that the new modification is based on a more modest touchscreen of the multimedia system — with a diagonal of 10.25 inches instead of 12.3 inches. Compared to the standard hybrid (it's available in a rich Ultra version), the Jolion Sport has less equipment in principle, removing the head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, surround view system, front parking sensors and most electronic assistants from the list. What's left? Virtual tidy (7 inches), climate control, rear view camera, rear parking sensors and the usual «cruise» (instead of adaptive).

The hybrid installation of the Thai Haval Jolion is based on a 1.5 petrol turbo engine, the total output is 190 hp. and 375 Nm. The Jolion Sport is front-wheel drive only.
The Jolion Sport costs around $23,000, while a standard crossover costs almost $29,000 in Thailand.
