Together with the five-seater Creta, the stretched three-row SUV also received a new design.
In the countries of Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East, a modernized second-generation Hyundai Creta with a Tucson design has long been sold. But in India, the pre-reform SUV is still presented, although, in fairness, we note that the model is already in excellent demand there. However, disguised test prototypes have already begun to be caught in this country (the Indian Crete will have a separate restyling), but the updated SUV should be presented only next year. Well, in order to maintain interest in the crossover, Hyundai India has developed a special version of the Adventure Edition (“adventure”) for it. Moreover, the new version went not only to the five-seater Crete, but also to the elongated three-row cross, which in India bears the name Alcazar: on the teasers, the cars can be distinguished by the radiator grille (Alcazar has “plates” instead of horizontal stripes).

The cars themselves are painted in a new green color for them. In addition, additional protective pads appeared on the sides, and decorative blotches with the name of the special version flaunt on the front fenders. Finally, the special crossovers have red brake calipers.
The interior is not yet exposed, but inside, most likely, they just added a contrasting stitching. Recall that Hyundai Alcazar comes with both a seven- and a six-seat interior, in the latter case, separate seats are installed in the second row.

Indian media outlets believe that the Adventure series crossovers will be available in several trim levels and with the same technology as conventional SUVs. The local Creta is equipped with an aspirated 1.5 MPI (115 hp), which is paired with a six-speed manual or IVT variator. Alcazar is offered with a 1.5 T-GDI petrol turbo four (160 hp) in combination with a 6MKP or a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Both crosses can also be bought with a 1.5 CRDi turbodiesel (116 hp), 6MKP or 6AKP. In India, the Creta and its three-row modification are exclusively front-wheel drive.
