From January to July 2023, more than 17,000 cars purchased at foreign accident auctions were registered, according to the results of Autoteka's research. Most often, such cars were brought from the USA.

The model that most often participated in the accident auctions in the USA became Hyundai Elantra — it accounted for 7% of all cars from abroad, for the first time registered in the period from January to July 2023 cars.

In second place was the Volkswagen Jetta, which accounted for 6% of all accident auction events in the US. The third place was shared by Kia Optima and Toyota Camry with a share of 5.9% of all cars from abroad, first registered, participating in the accident auctions in the United States. The fourth position is Mazda CX-5 with a share of 3.7%. Fifth place is occupied by the Ford Focus — the model accounted for 3.6%. The top 10 also included (in descending order of share of demand): Nissan Rogue, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata and Ford Mustang.
