Spurs have unveiled new £40m Dutch defender Mickey van de Ven. Hotspur have completed the signing of Miki van de Ven for over £40m and striker Alejo Velis for £12m.
Dutch defender Van de Ven has signed a six-year deal with Spurs. subject to international clearance, while Argentine under-20 striker Veliz has agreed an agreement with the club that will run until 2029.
A decision will be made on whether the 19-year-old will remain with Spurs in this year. season or on loan for first-team experience.
Alejo Velis could be loaned out when he completes his move from Rosario Central
Veliz was chosen as the man with first-team potential as he broke into Rosario two years ago and also scored the winning goal in their derby against Newell's Old Boys last year. He played under Carlos Tevez while the former Manchester City striker had a short managerial spell.
He also played for Javier Mascherano, Tevez's former West Ham United teammate, during the Under-20 World Cup this summer when he scored against Uzbekistan and Guatemala in a tournament hosted by his country.
