Nicola Sturgeon said she wants to spend time with people she «likes» as she brutally rejected an olive branch from Alex Salmond.
During a performance at the Edinburgh Fringe, she said she was now experiencing » indifference» to her former mentor and doubted his sincerity when he declared that he was ready for reconciliation.
This couple was once one of the closest and most effective doubles in British politics, but effectively quarreled over for the way her government dealt with complaints of sexual harassment against him.
Earlier this week, Mr Salmond said, «Never say never.» when asked if they could restore their friendship, and stated that he would be «sad» if he never spoke to Ms. Sturgeon again.
However, Ms. Sturgeon dismissed any prospect of a reunion, stating that it «not what I want.»
Mr Salmond, who saw the Scottish government's findings of its investigation nullified and later cleared of any wrongdoing in the criminal process, suggested that the Allies Mrs. Sturgeon conspired against him to put him in jail.

“We don't have much time on this planet, we have a limited amount of time that we can spend with people. I want to spend time with people who make me happy, who I like and who I enjoy spending time with.”
She added: “I experienced a whole range of emotions with Alex. over the past few years, and now I'm in a place where, yes, there are other people I'd rather spend time with.»
Ms. Sturgeon was Salmond's second-in-command as leader of the SNP after how the couple made an agreement that he would stand to regain the post in 2004.
