Bruce Springsteen has canceled several tours due to illness.
The 73-year-old musician was scheduled to play with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday and Friday before the concerts were postponed.
A statement on X, the social networking site formerly known as Twitter, did not state on Wednesday's Springsteen account what illness he had.
It said: «Because that Bruce Springsteen was ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 were postponed.
«We are working on rescheduling dates, so please don't lose your tickets, as they will be valid for rescheduled shows.»
In July, Springsteen played a major gig in London's Hyde Park after embarking on his first major tour in six years.

He has upcoming shows scheduled this month at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New York. Jersey and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
In March, he canceled several scheduled shows in the US.
He said one of his shows in Albany was postponed due to illness. .
