Fisker, led by Danish designer and entrepreneur Henrik Fisker, continues to declassify new items shown en masse earlier this month at the Fisker Product Vision event Day 2023. Today, a new dose of photos of the Alaska pickup has been published and some of its technical characteristics have been revealed.
Fisker's first production model after its relaunch in 2016 was the Ocean electric mid-size crossover — its production began last November at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria, and this summer the car finally began to reach customers after a lengthy certification procedure. Next in the Fisker program are the Ronin coupe-convertible, the Pear urban crossover and the Alaska pickup truck, all due to enter production in 2025, but the Alaska is closest to the line as it is derived from the Ocean crossover.

Now the company accepts pre-orders for Alaska — for registration you need to transfer a deposit of $ 250. The retail price will start at $45,400, but with subsidies from the US authorities, it can be reduced to $37,900.

The overall length of the Fisker Alaska is 5304 mm, that is, it is a full-fledged mid-size pickup truck, but with a load-bearing body. The useful length of the cargo area of the body is 1372 mm, but this can be increased to 2286 mm by lowering down the electrically operated partition between the body and the cab — this partition is named Houdini in honor of the legendary magician Harry Houdini. If, in addition, the tailgate is folded down (it is also electrically driven), then the useful length for the cargo will increase to 2804 mm. The front of the pickup has a trunk for bags (the volume is not specified), an additional wardrobe trunk for things can be placed on the roof of the cab. Stock wheels — 20- or 22-inch.

The interior design of the Alaska is generally the same as that of the Ocean crossover, but there are a few original “chips”: a giant bottler between the front seats, a retractable holder for the front passenger’s tablet with a topographic pattern, a mesh holder for a cowboy hat on the ceiling, a central box armrest with holders for flashlights, belt holders for things on the back of the front seats. Recycled and environmentally friendly materials are widely used in interior trim. The 17.1-inch center screen on the front can be rotated 90 degrees to change from portrait to landscape.

Alaska will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 75 or 113 kWh, the power reserve on a single charge will be 370-547 km, depending on the modification. The characteristics of the power plants have not yet been disclosed, but they are likely to be the same as those of the Ocean crossover. The twin-engine all-wheel drive top version of the Ocean has a power of 564 hp. and gaining 100 km/h in 3.9 s. Alaska, according to a press release, in the base version will be able to accelerate to 60 mph (96.56 km/h) in 7.2 seconds, in the top version in 3.9 seconds.
Last week, Fisker revealed the details of the 1,000-horsepower Ronin 5-passenger coupe convertible, which will start at $385,000, and next week or so, it's probably worth waiting for a press release on the most important for the company of the model — a massive compact crossover Pear, which will cost from $ 29,900 and should sell thousands of copies around the world.
