A couple of days ago, a video with a camouflaged Genesis GV70 crossover was published on the Web, which hints at the imminent appearance of a restyled version. What will it look like?
The GV70 premiered at the end of 2020, becoming the brand's second crossover after the GV80. A year later, the Koreans introduced a fully electric modification of the “seventies”, which received the uncomplicated name Electrified GV70. The SUV has not yet turned three years old, however, samples of the restyled version have already been tested.

The body of the prototypes is still hidden under a thick layer of camouflage, through which you can only see the radiator grill, trimmed with larger diamonds. Most likely, the headlights will retain their shape, while they can get a new LED filling. A new front bumper will appear, the render shows one of the possible design options. As for the rear of the car, the bumper design will also change here, while the optics may not change, however, we depicted a variant with updated lights, the upper segments of which are combined into a strip (a similar solution is already used on the flagship G90 sedan and some concepts of the brand). In addition, the crossover is shown with new wheels.

The Genesis GV70 is built on the M3 rear-wheel drive platform, like other models of the company (with the exception of the GV60 electrocross). The SUV is offered with three engine options – petrol turbocharged 2.5 T-GDI (304 hp, 422 Nm) and 3.5 T-GDI (380 hp, 530 Nm), as well as a 2.2 e-VGT turbodiesel (210 hp). s., 441 Nm). All motors are aggregated with an 8-speed “automatic”. In the basic version, the GV70 has a spring suspension, an optional adaptive chassis is offered (shock absorbers change stiffness based on data from the front camera that scans the road before the cross). Also, crossovers with all-wheel drive have a system for selecting “off-road” Multi-Terrain Control modes (sand, mud and snow).
