The British company is going to release only four copies of the expensive two-door. Such a car is equipped with a 600-horsepower V12 biturbo engine.
During Monterey Car Week, the British brand Rolls-Royce introduced the Droptail: an exclusive two-seat roadster, which the company decided to release in a limited edition of only four copies. The two-door car was created by Rolls-Royce Coachbuild. Presented at the exhibition and the first in the line was the roadster, which received an increase to the name La Rose Noire.

The front end of the exclusive Rolls-Royce is relatively conventional, with the brand's large chrome grille and slim LED headlights with thin stripes of daytime running lights. Closer to the stern, the body narrows, behind we see a “teardrop tail”. The design of the stern was reportedly inspired by the French Black Baccarat rose (maroon).

Note that the body color of the Rolls-Royce Droptail shown changes color depending on the level of light – in the shade such a roadster looks almost like black, and in the sun it takes on a pearly red hue. The doors of the car swing open against the movement, and together with the exterior mirrors, which are attached to the doors on separate legs. The removable roof panel is made of carbon fiber.

The interior is a unique feature of this two-seat roadster. Its surfaces are decorated with an abstract image of “falling rose petals”. This “panel” was created from 1603 pieces of ebony veneer. The roadster seats are trimmed in True Love Red and Mystery Red leather. In the center of the front panel is a custom made Audemars Piguet watch. Their diameter is 43 mm; by the way, the watch can be detached by pressing a button and worn on a strap.

Even in the cabin there is a niche for storing champagne, opened by pressing a button. There are also hand-blown crystal champagne glasses and a serving tray. The length of this two-door is 5.3 meters, and the width is 2.0 meters. It's smaller than the Specter electric coupe that was unveiled last October.

Under the hood of this car lies a 6.75-liter V12 biturbo engine familiar to fans of the brand, with a capacity of 600 hp, and its maximum torque is 840 Nm. This roadster accelerates to 100 km/h in less than five seconds, and its top speed is 250 km/h.
Rolls-Royce does not disclose the price of the exclusive roadster. According to Carscoops.com, citing its sources, the cost of a two-door can be about $ 25 million.
Last spring it became known that Rolls-Royce was saying goodbye to the Dawn convertible: at the Goodwood plant ( West Sussex, UK) was the last batch released. Recall that this open-top car is equipped with a 571-horsepower V12 bi-turbo engine with a volume of 6.6 liters, its maximum torque is 820 Nm.
