Revealed complete set of crossovers Kaiyi X3 and X3 Pro for Russia

One of the SUVs will be available with aspirated 1.5, the second cross got a turbo engine of the same size. All-wheel drive models are not allowed.

The Kaliningrad Avtotor held the public premiere of the Kaiyi X3 and X3 Pro crossovers as part of the MIMS exhibition that opened the day before in Moscow (for more details, see our separate article). And now the company has revealed details about the equipment of SUVs intended for the Russian market. Recall that the Kaiyi brand is one of the new Chinese partners of Avtotor, its co-owner is Chery. SUVs will soon join the already sold Kaiyi E5 sedan.

The X3 and X3 Pro crosses are varieties of the well-known Chery Tiggo 4 to Russians (in China, the Kaiyi models are called Showjet and Showjet Pro, respectively), the Xs differ in design from each other. In particular, the Pro version has a more sporty look, and in the cabin of such a “five-door” a multimedia tablet is installed, towering above the front panel (the “simple” X3 has a screen built into the panel). The dimensions of the Kaiyi models are the same: length — 4400 mm, width — 1831 mm, height — 1653 mm, wheelbase — 2632 mm. The nominal ground clearance of our crossovers is 158 mm.

Kaiyi X3 will be offered with a 1.5 petrol aspirator (116 hp). Judging by the Russian consumer site Kaiyi, this cross will be available in two trim levels — Comfort and Luxury. For the first, a five-speed mechanics or CVT is provided, the second is a variator. Under the hood of the Kaiyi X3 Pro crossover is a 1.5 turbo four (the site indicates a return of 156 hp, but according to other sources this figure will be 147 hp), which is combined exclusively with CVT. Both engines can «feed» AI-92. The drive is in any case only front.

The Kaiyi X3 Comfort equipment list includes: 17-inch wheels, halogen headlights and diode running lights, a light sensor, electric drive and heated exterior mirrors, heated windshield washer nozzles, rear parking sensors, fabric upholstery, heated steering wheel, front and rear seats, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch display, a pair of airbags, air conditioning and cruise control. In the Luxury version, LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, a “leather” interior, side “airbags” and a rear-view camera appear, and the “X-third” in this version also has a grille with “dots” instead of horizontal stripes. Kaiyi X3 Pro Luxury has the same equipment as the «luxury» X3, in addition, such a cross received a panoramic roof, wireless charging for a smartphone, a surround camera.

Prices to be announced in the coming weeks . Meanwhile, the related Chery Tiggo 4 Pro crossover with aspirated 1.5 (113 hp) costs from 2,219,900 rubles today, with a 1.5 turbo engine (147 hp) — from 2,509,900 rubles (excluding shares).
