Tottenham Hotspur are set to open talks over move to striker « Nottingham Forest» to £50m-rated Brennan Johnson with a view to a deal this week.
The Wales international is a serious target for Tottenham Hotspur as they prepare for a belated flurry of cases Friday night postponement deadline .
Johnson's future at Forest has been uncertain all summer and Tottenham are poised to move in for the 22-year-old who has attracted interest from other Premier League clubs this summer, including Chelsea,» West Ham United, Aston Villa and Brentford.
Tottenham have already signed England international James Maddison and Manor Solomon, as well as completed a permanent deal with Dejan Kulusevski, but are still looking for new attacking players after the sale of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.

Forest has also held talks with Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi and has gained interest in Manchester City's England U21 captain Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
They are also looking to reduce their squad, with Jonjo Shelvey, Emmanuel Dennis, Remo Freuler, Lewis O' Brian, Jonathan Panzo, Loic Mbe. Seo and Ethan Horvath are set to leave before the end of this week.
