The police were called to the scene of the Westgate Road incident early Sunday morning, August 20, and they are still investigating what happened, which provoked violent skirmishes.
The Northumbria Police said in a statement: At 4 am on Sunday, August 20, we received a report of a riot involving several people on Westgate Road in Newcastle. Police officers were present, but it is assumed that the participants in the incident had already left the scene. The investigation is ongoing.”
The police have also requested witnesses and any information that could help in the investigation.
Telegraph Sport understands that Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is annoyed that Lascelles was in such a situation, especially so late at night. self-defense.
No longer a regular starter at Newcastle, there has been some interest in Lacelles in this window from Turkish club Besiktas, but the club are unwilling to sell their captain as they don't have the money to sign a replacement.

The incident is alleged to have started when Lascelles' 19-year-old brother was elbowed in the throat in an «unprovoked» attack.
The Newcastle skipper pushed the man backwards, and that's when the attack began others joined in, throwing a bottle of vodka at him.
In hand-to-hand combat, Lacelles' friend lost consciousness and required hospitalization. No arrests have been made, the gang has escaped, and the police are still investigating.
The club declined to comment, but Howe will speak about the situation at his press conference later this week.
