1/3 2/3 >3/3 The Moscow stage at the Moscow Raceway is one of the key events in the calendar of the G-Drive series of the SMP RSKG. The track, designed according to the requirements of Formula 1, is able to take all the participants of the championship and the Cup of Russia and organize several entertainment zones at once. For many pilots, this stage will be decisive in the fight for the title. This is true for the classes that will hold the final races at Moscow Raceway, and for those who will go to Grozny in October — after all, there are less and less chances for them to improve their position in the championship. In addition, the capital stage attracts strong pilots who do not compete in the G-Drive SMP RSKG on an ongoing basis, but will be able to interfere in the fight between the leaders and influence the distribution of valuable points. Oleg PETRIKOV, head of the Russian motorsport development program SMP Racing
Stars of Russian and world motorsport take part in all classes of the G-Drive series of the SMP RSKG Touring. And among the cars you can find both spectacular, loud and powerful supercars, as well as well-known mass models — but in unusual racing preparation.
SMP GT4 RUSSIA
The most spectacular class, in which a dozen and a half Mercedes-AMG GT4, BMW M4 and Toyota Supra supercars with up to 500 hp start. – exactly the same as in the European Championship.
Among the pilots are the winners and prize-winners of foreign races Vadim Meshcheryakov, Rinat Salikhov, Andrey Solukovtsev, Marat Khairov.
SMP TCR RUSSIA (Touring)
The most professional class, where exactly the same cars are presented as in the FIA WTCR World Cup: 350-horsepower Audi RS3, Cupra Leon, Hyundai Elantra and i30 N — and LADA Vesta Sport sedans successfully resisting them!
The roster is truly stellar: Dmitry Bragin and Kirill Ladygin are multiple Russian champions and European Cup winners; Vladimir Atoev and Alexander Smolyar are winners of European formula competitions. Absolutely all participants are winners and prize-winners of all-Russian racing tournaments!
SUPER-PRODUCTION
The most technically democratic class: in it, 2-liter coupes compete with sedans and hatchbacks, the drive can be either front or rear, and 300 hp. removed from engines with a volume of 1.6-2.0 liters. Here LADA Vesta opposes Honda Civic, Volkswagen Scirocco and Mazda 3.
And amateur pilots, including Nikolai Vikhansky and Roman Golikov, challenge the athletes of the AvtoVAZ factory team — titled Mikhail Mityaev and Leonid Panfilov!
p>TOURING LIGHT
The most «evil» class, in which compact models of the Audi A1, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia with 200-horsepower turbo engines fight with atmospheric Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris.
Among the favorites are adherents of both concepts, among which it is worth noting the winner of the European Cup Nikolai Karamyshev, the multiple champion of Russia Mikhail Simonov and the legend Soviet and Russian Motorsport Vladimir Cherevan.
S1600
The most recognizable class — after all, it represents the same Kia Rio, LADA Granta and Hyundai Solaris that are found on ordinary roads. True, their engines are boosted to 170 hp, so in the hands of experienced pilots — including Artem Antonov, Vasily Korablev, Mikhail Dralin and Tatyana Eliseeva — compact hatchbacks turn into a formidable weapon.
SPORTPROTOTYPE CN
The most an unusual class filled with specially built sports prototypes. The backbone of the peloton is made up of domestic Shortcuts, created based on the classic Lotus 7. There is also the French Mitjet 2l, stylized as a BMW, and American Legends cars, stylized as models of the 30-40s.
A quarter of a hundred participants! Among them are strong racers — Ekaterina Boyarinova and Tatyana Dobrynina. And also young Konstantin Sugrobov: yesterday's amateur kart driver got a ticket to big-time motorsport thanks to his victory in the All-Russian tournament SMP Racing/Gazprom for Children.
SMP HISTORIC CUP
The most nostalgic class, but by no means slow! After all, carefully preserved and prepared for racing Zhiguli, Muscovites and IZHs (among which there is even a pickup truck) develop speeds comparable to modern cars.
And they are piloted as honored veterans like Andrey Kozlov and Andrey Artyushin, USSR, as well as very young athletes — like 20-year-old Dmitry Kozlov and 16-year-old Anastasia Pukhlyakova.
