    Netflix CMO named Black British Businessman of 2023

    Aaron Lynch, Senior Global Creative Marketing Manager at Netflix, has been named Black British Businessman of the Year at the 2023 Black British Business Awards (BBBAwards).

    Aaron is a revolutionary marketing phenomenon with over 12 years' experience working on scripted and unscripted content across BBC One, BBC Three, Channel 4 and now Netflix.

    Joining Netflix over five years ago as Global Creative Marketing Manager, Aaron was instrumental in the relaunch of the relaunched Top Boy and Black Mirror franchises, including the groundbreaking interactive special Bandersnatch.

    Aaron is a key content driver for Netflix, leading initiatives such as the Black British Stories collection and working alongside content teams to bring new and classic Black British voices to Netflix's audience of more than 230 million people in 190. country.

    The Black Briton of the Year award was presented at an evening ceremony at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel by Chuka Umunna, JPMorgan's EMEA Head of ESG and Green Economy Investment Banking.

    Over the past decade, the BBBAwards have celebrated and celebrated the achievements of black entrepreneurs and professionals who reflect the best of British talent on the global stage. The BBBA Awards have inspired future generations, promoted inclusivity and promoted better representation and innovative business environments.

    This year's 10th anniversary celebrations, #WeAre, demonstrated the collective strength of the black community and their allies uniting to promote racial equality in businesses across the UK.

    The BBBAwards recognizes achievements in six industry sectors including Arts & Media, Consumer & Luxury, Enterprise, Financial Services, Professional services and STEM.

The 2023 Ally of the Year award went to Andrew Bagley, EMEA General Counsel and Head of EMEA Legal at Goldman Sachs.
