New York celebrities and billionaires are vying for access to an exclusive gym that costs $36,000 (£30,000) a year but has no shower.
Hidden behind out of a nondescript side entrance in Manhattan's fashionable Tribeca neighborhood, Dogpound offers unlimited personal training, a sleek boxing ring and diagnostic body checks to fewer than 100 members.
Billed as the city's most Instagrammable. gym, its clients include A-list stars such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Cindy Crawford.
Those on the membership list can take advantage of «best-in-class» training on everything from Olympic weightlifting to weight loss, while instructors help clients test their strengths in an open-plan gym equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Membership prices range from $8,000 (£6,590) per year for five personal training sessions per month to $36,000 (before tax) for unlimited personal training.

But while the experience is considered unbeatable, the price is higher than many people's annual income. the salary does not meet expectations.
The facility has no showers and only two toilets for men and women. The spartan locker room has lockers for personal items and small black benches for relaxing, but nothing else.
Jenny Liu said Dogpound had been trying to install a shower since it opened in 2016, but it had failed. blocked by building codes. The gym, which has another location in Los Angeles, is part of a booming US health industry valued at $450 billion a year.
It joins E by Equinox, the luxury gym brand's top membership that reportedly costs $26,000 per year for unlimited workouts, as an exclusive fitness offering for mega-wealthy New Yorkers.

«I don't know if that means no take a shower,” he told The Telegraph.
Hugh Jackman-inspired gym
Mr Meyers founded Dogpound, which has more than 521,000 followers on Instagram, in 2016 after he began training «Wolverine» star Hugh Jackman, who began bringing his dog and friends to workouts. The group became known as Dogpound.
Since its inception, stars such as model Adriana Lima and actor Tom Holland have invested in the brand.
Customers can buy personal training packages without a membership. Unlike other gyms, users cannot come to Dogpound and use the equipment on their own; they must be booked in with a trainer.
Ms Liu said that while membership may seem like a «very high price», Dogpound offers «great value» to people working out every day of the week.
Maurice White, 36, has been a personal trainer at Dogpound for a long time. almost two years. He is an expert in animal flow, a type of bodyweight exercise that involves movements called «static beast» for endurance and mobility.
Mr. White said one thing that attracts celebrity clients to Dogpound is that they often «want to go to a gym where it's normal for you to be around your peers.»
He said the «wide public connection» allows people to say, «Okay, I'm Gisele Bündchen, I'm Maria Borges, I want to train in these places because there are people at my level there and it will be okay.»
Mr White said black level members were looking at fitness «long term long term» and choose prepaid, «like Amazon Prime or something like that, and then you stop worrying about it for the rest of the year.»
