The current generation Nissan X-Trail debuted in 2021 in China; the crossover’s full-scale entry into the global market took place only last year. But in North America, the current SUV has been present since 2020, where, let us remind you, the model bears the name Rogue. And the American cross was the first to undergo a planned restyling. The “World” X-Trail will probably change in appearance in a similar way, only later.

The crossover intended for the USA and Canada has had its face redesigned: the massive chrome insert in the shape of the letter V has disappeared, and instead there are separate shiny elements at the edges of the radiator grille. By the way, a similar design solution was applied to other new Nissans, among them the updated Dayz kei car, the Serena minivan, the Almera/Versa sedan and the Chinese Pathfinder cross. The 2024 Nissan Rogue's grille also sports thin chrome strips. The bumpers have also been replaced, the rear lights now have different graphics, plus the design of the wheels has been updated (18- or 19-inch) and the palette of body colors has been expanded.

The main update in the cabin is a multimedia system with Google services and a 12.3-inch diagonal screen. True, such a tablet is only included in the rich SL and Platinum trim levels (pre-reform similar versions had a 9-inch display), while the “simple” S and SV versions retained the 8-inch one. Well, we note that the global Nissan X-Trail has a large touchscreen initially.

The American Nissan Rogue has also had its pre-top SL package shaken up: it now also includes a 12.3-inch virtual instrument panel and wireless charging for a smartphone. And the most expensive Platinum variant comes with leather upholstery in a new chestnut color. As before, all versions of the crossover have automatic braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and automatic headlight switching. Starting with the SV trim level, the ProPilot Assist complex appears – this is adaptive cruise control and a lane keeping function.
All the equipment is the same. Two years ago, Rogue switched from a 2.5 naturally aspirated four-cylinder gasoline engine (184 hp, 245 Nm) to a 1.5 VC-Turbo turbocharged engine with a variable compression ratio, which produces 204 hp. and 305 Nm. The engine is combined with an X-Tronic variator, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
In the USA and Canada sales of the restyled Nissan Rogue will start early next year, prices have not yet been announced. For example, in the States, a pre-reform crossover today costs from $27,910 (excluding taxes and delivery).
