Avito Auto: sales of Chinese used cars increased by 115% in the third quarter of 2023

Avito Auto experts analyzed the dynamics of sales of Chinese used cars in the third quarter of 2023. According to experts, in July-September of this year, sales on the market increased by 115% compared to the same period last year. The average price of used cars from the Middle Kingdom in the third quarter of 2023 reached 1,800,000 rubles.

According to Avito Auto, the sales leaders among brands from China were (in descending order of sales share): Geely (22%), Chery (20.4%), LIFAN (9.8%), Changan (8.3%) and Haval (7.5%).

Chinese cars are becoming increasingly popular among Russians every month. This is due both to the increasing supply of cars from the Middle Kingdom and the development of dealer networks, and to the availability of new trim levels in the country. The ranking of the best-selling used cars from the Middle Kingdom on the Russian market is headed by Geely Monjaro (the share of sales from the sale of all Chinese used cars is 6.1%), the average price for which amounted to 3,800,000 rubles.

The second place was taken by Chery Tiggo T11 (4.3%) with an average price of 377,000 rubles.

In third place is LIFAN Solano (3.1%), the average price of which is 289,000 rubles, in fourth place is Geely Coolray (2.9%) with an average price of 2,050,000 rubles.

Fifth place in the ranking is occupied by LIFAN X60 (2.8%), the average price is 400,000 rubles.
