The only sedan of the Chinese brand Lynk & Co, owned by the Geely holding, a new limited top version 03++ has appeared, it is offered in two configurations — all-wheel drive Racing and front-wheel drive TCR Cyan.
Brand Lynk & Co was launched in 2016, a compact sedan with index 03 appeared in its range in 2018, the “three-ruble note” is based on the CMA modular platform developed by Volvo Cars (Volvo Cars also belongs to Geely). Lynk & Co 03 has proven to be a successful model and now accounts for about a third of Lynk & Co in China: from January to September this year, the sedan, according to CAAM, sold 47,181 units. (+34.4% compared to last year). Last year Lynk & Co 03 underwent restyling, as a result of which it received a more aggressive appearance and a completely new interior.

Lynk & Co 03 has a sporty image, it competes in the TCR Touring Car race and is the official car of the Swedish team Cyan Racing — the same one that in the past was called Polestar and was the court tuning studio of Volvo. Polestar today is one of the subsidiaries of the Geely holding, it produces premium electric cars, and Cyan Racing, although it has lost its former name and gained independence, continues to cooperate with Geely and promote the sports charisma of the Lynk & Co 03.
In 2019, Lynk & Co 03 a top version with a plus in the name appeared, and it is still in service: Lynk & Co 03+ has all-wheel drive with a power take-off clutch to the rear axle and is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine (265 hp, 380 Nm) paired with an 8-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission, up to 100 km/h such a sedan accelerates in 5.7 seconds, top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Now the range has been replenished with an even more powerful Lynk & Co 03++, its engine output is increased to 350 hp. and 450 Nm, the aerodynamic tail of the body has become even more aggressive and efficient: the front has a two-tier splitter, and a higher and wider wing is installed at the stern. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not report how the increase in power affected the acceleration dynamics.

Lynk & Co 03++ is already available to order in two configurations: Racing and TCR Cyan — the difference between them is about the same as between the GTA and GTAm versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan. The Racing versions (the black car in the photos) retained all-wheel drive, but lost almost all electronic driver assistants (only all-round cameras and ultrasonic sensors remained). The interior is trimmed almost entirely in grippy suede. Tire size — 245/35 ZR 19 «all around».

The TCR Cyan version (the blue car in the photos) is even more hardcore and closer to the Cyan Racing racing cars: there is only front-wheel drive, wider front tires of size 265/30 ZR 19 (rear — 245/35 ZR 19) and plumper wheel arches, due to which the body width increased by 34 mm to 1877 mm. Ground clearance has been reduced from 134 to 123 mm. The curb weight has been reduced from 1645 to 1495 kg, including due to the widespread use of carbon fiber in the body skin. The rear seat was removed from the interior and a semi-cage was installed; the standard front seats were replaced with lightweight Sparco racing buckets with manual adjustments.

Some features of the TCR Cyan version are available for the Racing version as options (for example, a wider body and a carbon body kit), and the easiest way to distinguish these versions is by four exhaust pipes: on the TCR Cyan they are located vertically, on the Racing — horizontal.
The Racing version costs from 285,800 yuan (3.8 million rubles translated at the current exchange rate), TCR Cyan version — from 420,300 yuan (5.6 million rubles). Per month Lynk & Co will only sell 40 examples of the 03++ sedan, which greatly fuels the excitement.
