The pylon crashed into a BMW X5 directly in front of Alexander-Arnold, who was forced to brake hard and swerve before hitting the car.
The 25-year-old was photographed at the scene incident after getting out of the car to talk to the other driver. The front end of his black Range Rover was also shown to have been damaged, as was the white BMW, the headlight of which had been thrown from the vehicle.
Cheshire Police said: “We were called at 10.34am this morning to reporting a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.
“An electrical pole fell onto the road, causing the accident. No one was injured and everything was cleared by 1.05pm.
“We called the power company and cut off the power.”
Alexander-Arnold later took part in a training session with ahead Liverpool » from Saturday's Merseyside derby.
He was named in the starting line-up for the lunchtime meeting with Everton and was pictured smiling upon his arrival at Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold's representative to him have been approached for comment.
The accident comes almost a month after his England team-mate Marcus Rashford crashed his £700,000 Rolls-Royce near Manchester United's Carrington base following his side's win over Burnley with a score of 1:0.
Footage was posted online by witnesses of the attacker's white luxury car appearing badly damaged, with a traffic island collapsing nearby.
