Boris Johnson declared his solidarity with British Jews as 30,000 people signed the October Declaration against the recent Hamas terrorist attacks and the associated rise in anti-Semitism.

It says: “We are a group concerned British citizens and residents from all walks of life and professions who stand in solidarity with British Jews and condemn all forms of anti-Semitism, whether in Britain or elsewhere.»

Lord Bailey, former Conservative candidate party to become Mayor of London, said: “There should be no doubt that the atrocities committed by Hamas are acts of terrorism and have thrown away all hope of peace in the worst possible way.”
