The company also recalled that the serial flagship QX80 will appear next year, and also announced the appearance of a new crossover, the harbinger of which is the concept Vision QXe.
The Japanese premium brand Infiniti, part of Nissan, today announced several new products that will expand the brand’s lineup. They will contribute to a comprehensive update of Infiniti. One of the upcoming cars will be the third-generation flagship QX80 SUV: in August, the manufacturer showed its harbinger — the Infiniti QX Monograph concept.

It is known that the production version of the full-size SUV will go on sale in 2024. Infiniti noted that the product version of the QX80 will borrow a lot from the show car, including a “minimalistic exterior with memorable details.” The manufacturer added that the interior of the three-row SUV will receive “luxurious” finishing materials and “advanced technologies.”

Previously, the company teased fans of the brand with teasers of its next project, now the new product is officially presented. Its role was played by the Vision Qe large liftback concept, which is a harbinger of Infiniti's first electric car. It is known that the show car is also intended to demonstrate the evolved design language of the premium brand.
The Infiniti Vision Qe has a streamlined body, a large front overhang and a short rear overhang. The show car has stampings on the hood, a sharp “nose”, and the rear is decorated in a similar style with a bright strip of lights. The head optics are designed in the form of “piano keys” and extend across the entire width of the front part. At the bottom of the front bumper there is an air intake divided in two, the elements of which are illuminated along the contour. The concept was also equipped with large wheels of an original design, shod with low-profile tires.

There is no information about the technology of the concept; The company will talk in more detail about the all-electric “filling” of the new product when it gets closer to the production version. It is known that the production of the first Infiniti electric car, according to the plan, should be established at a plant in Canton (Mississippi, USA). Nissan will produce its electric cars at the same site.

The company also showed teasers of a couple of other new products. One of them will be a harbinger of the brand’s second all-electric model: its role will be played by the Infiniti Vision QXe concept crossover. There is practically no information about it at the moment: the company only noted that it will combine “the practicality of a crossover body with the latest Infiniti design solutions and a set of advanced technologies.”
Teaser of the Infiniti QX65 concept
Also, the “family photo” (preview) shows another new product — the two-row cross-coupe QX65 (currently in concept status). Previously, we reported that such a mid-size SUV could join the brand’s lineup; now the manufacturer has officially announced this model. Official information about this SUV will appear later. It is expected to be a close relative of the traditionally-bodied Infiniti QX60, but will likely resemble the QX55 in styling.
