Valeria shared her memories of Zavorotnyuk

MOSCOW, May 30. Singer Valeria said that she hoped for a miracle that actress Anastasia Zavorotnyuk would overcome the disease, but, unfortunately, this did not happen.
Zavorotnyuk died on Thursday at the age of 53 after a long illness.

“How I wanted a miracle to happen, but… Beautiful, strong, talented, kind Nastenka could not overcome the terrible disease, despite all her efforts… Of course, there were many roles, crazy success, incredible demand – and everything suddenly ended Happy memory to a good man and a wonderful artist!” – she wrote in her Telegram channel.

Valeria also remembered how Zavorotnyuk starred in her video while still a graduate student at the Moscow Art Theater School. “How sweet she was always to talk to, smart, cheerful. I remember how once (it was about 15 years ago) she told me that she once starred in my video. I was simply stunned,” she shared.
According to the singer, this is one of her first videos, which was filmed on the stage of the Moscow Art Theatre, and graduating students were invited to take part in crowd scenes, including Zavorotnyuk. “It was in 1992. And I remembered the beautiful mermaid. I rushed to rewatch the video – and indeed, Nastya starred in this episode, and it is not surprising, because they chose the most beautiful girl for this role,” she added.
Singer Dima Bilan also expressed his condolences to the actress's family and friends. “Anastasia… A bright, beautiful and happy life… May she rest in peace, we remember and mourn. My condolences to her loved ones,” the singer wrote in a post published on the social network Instagram*.

Anastasia Zavorotnyuk is a Russian actress, born on April 3, 1971 in Astrakhan. She became famous for her role as nanny Vicky in the television series My Fair Nanny. The actress also starred in such films as “Mashenka”, “Apocalypse Code”, “Office Romance. Our Time”. In 1993-2004, Zavorotnyuk played in the Oleg Tabakov Theater. She performed roles in the plays “The Bumbarash Passion” (Varya), “An Ordinary Story” (Nadya), “Biloxi Blues” (Dezzy), “Sailor's Silence” (Tanya), “The Myth of Don Juan” (Zhanette), “Farewell… and applaud” (Marina), “Confessions of the adventurer Felix Krul” (Elinor Twentyman) and others.
