BELGOROD, June 1 A school building and several houses were damaged in the village of Murom, Shebekinsky district due to artillery shelling from Ukraine, there were no casualties, said the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
«The village of Murom, Shebekinsky urban district, came under artillery fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. As a result of a direct hit from a shell, a school building was damaged. Also, windows were broken out by shell fragments, fences, facades and roofs were cut in three private residential buildings households,” Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The head of the region clarified that power lines were also damaged, and emergency crews will begin eliminating the consequences after agreement with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. “Operational services are working on the spot, door-to-door canvassing of the territory continues,” the governor added.
