Solar Group, an architect of integrated security, held a partner conference — SOLARSHIP Day, which consisted of business and product tracks. The event became a meeting place for system integrators, resellers and developers from all over Russia and the CIS countries: 400 people gathered in person at the site. The general partner of the conference was the Axoft digital technology expertise and distribution center, the official distributor of Solar Group products and services.
Solar launched the SOLARSHIP affiliate program in February of this year to expand geographic coverage and ensure the availability of the company's products and services to a wide range of customers. During the first quarter, more than 100 partners from 11 CIS countries and the world joined the program. The immediate plans include the launch of a certification center to increase the level of expertise in the company’s products, as well as the training of the first 200 certified sales specialists, 140 technical specialists and 40 information security officers.
The event opened with a general session with the participation of the company's top management. General Director of GC «Solar» Igor Lyapunovspoke about the company’s technology policy, plans for the development of the product line and the advantages of cooperation with Solar. “The key principle of our partnership is a win-win approach. We protect and defend our partner’s interests when he defends ours,” noted Igor Lyapunov.
Nikolai Sivak, Commercial Director of the Solar Group, emphasized the importance of developing partnerships, outlining the key role of the vendor in the company’s long-term development strategy. “The Russian information security market has shown stable growth since 2022 by 15% annually. Last year, the Solar group of companies implemented more than 600 projects in the field of information security. The number of our potential clients is about 30 thousand, and this is only in Russia. If we compare all these figures, we will see that the market potential is much greater than we can protect alone,” commented Nikolai Sivak.
Solar has launched a wide portfolio of solutions for partner sales, including the Solar Dozor DLP system, Solar webProxy web security gateway, Solar NGFW new generation firewall, Solar inRights IdM system, Solar SafeInspect PAM system, Solar unstructured data monitoring system DAG and code analyzer Solar appScreener.
The company's products, in particular signatures for NGFW, are developed on the basis of the Solar 4RAYS Cyber Threat Research Center. Since up to 200 billion events pass through Solar sensors every day, the vendor has the largest accumulated knowledge base about cyber threats in Russia. This makes the company's products more effective and adapted to Russian realities. Currently, Solar is actively working on integrating the Solar Cyberworld services and platform for cyber exercises into the partner channel.
The SOLARSHIP affiliate program provides for four partner statuses, each of which has its own requirements for availability of certified salesmen and engineers. Partner status is reviewed annually and depends on the experience of introducing products of different classes, the company’s contribution to the promotion of Solara products on the market and the achieved financial results.
