ST. PETERSBURG, June 7, Alena Sulizova. The Media League plans to work on promoting its national team on the international stage, since Russian professional clubs are not interested in cooperation, Media League President Nikolai Osipov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Earlier, Osipov stated that the Medialiga plans to contact the management of Moscow Spartak and Lokomotiv to hold friendly matches with media teams.
“”We are always in dialogue with clubs: with CSKA and Dynamo, including. After poking at a closed door, we decided that we would still go towards international expansion, where there would be a Russian Media League team with the flag and anthem of our native country. It seems to me that we will be much more interesting outside our country than to the professional clubs that play in it,” Osipov said.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum takes place from June 5 to 8. – information partner of the forum.
