    The ex-head of Avtodor could get 14 years in prison

    For embezzlement during the construction of the Central Ring Road, the ex-head of Avtodor may receive 14 years in prison

    The court is considering the case of the former head of Avtodor Sergei Kelbakh on embezzlement during the construction of the Central Ring Road in Moscow . The prosecutor requested 14 years in prison for the defendant.

    Kelbach is accused of abuse of power during the construction of the first stage of the Central Ring Road under the federal program. The damage caused to the state was estimated at more than two billion rubles

    On instructions from Vladimir Putin, an interdepartmental inspection was carried out, during which large-scale violations were discovered. The inspection was carried out by the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

    The trial is taking place in the Tverskoy Court of the capital. The defense did not comment on the time frame requested by the prosecution.
