    When the deadline ends registration to vote?

    The registration deadline to vote in the general election is June 18 at 11:59 p.m. However, there is a separate deadline for applying for a postal vote, which must be submitted by 5pm the following day.

    In England, Wales and Northern Ireland you can apply online. For elections in Scotland you will need to download the form and return it to your local voter registration office.

    In some cases, you can apply for an emergency proxy vote by 5:00 pm on July 4th. including loss of photo identification or medical emergency.
