The head of the ANO «Digital Platforms» was wounded almost in the heart

MOSCOW, June 9. The head of the autonomous non-profit organization Digital Platforms, Arseny Shcheltsin, was wounded with a knife in the heart area during a conflict in the north-east of Moscow, his wife told Gazeta.Ru.

"Arseny was in shock, trying to somehow drive him away, somehow protect him. He also received three stab wounds. “One almost to the heart,” the woman said.

According to the capital’s prosecutor’s office, the incident occurred on the night of June 8 on Sirenevy Boulevard. The conflict between the two companies escalated into a fight, one of the participants of which attacked the opponents with a knife. The department did not specify the names of the participants in the conflict. One of the victims was hit nine times and died on the spot, the second was taken to the hospital with three wounds.

The suspect, a man born in 1976, was detained a few hours later. A murder case was opened against him. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is now being decided.
As a source in law enforcement agencies later confirmed, the victims in the case are Arseniy Shcheltsin, head of the ANO Digital Platforms, and Ivan Poznyakov. The suspect in the attack is Roman Medvedkin.
