England players headed to the European Championships in Germany on Monday with Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad outfitted with personalized designer backpacks and a passionate farewell.
The team tasked with ending England's 58-year wait for a major trophy greeted fans at St George's Park with a show of personality. Bags from a variety of fashion brands included Jude Bellingham's Louis Vuitton, Bukayo Saka's Bottega and Jordan Pickford's Goyard bag, which featured a comical photo of him with son Arlo.

After dozens of fans, young and old, gathered at the venue to wave them off, the entire squad posed for photos and signed autographs, including Birmingham City product Bellingham, when he came face to face with a family of Aston Villa fans. “I almost feel bad,” joked the Real Madrid midfielder.
The players wore all-black tracksuits and Nike-branded T-shirts as they boarded a bus to Birmingham International Airport, where they also posed for photographs on flight BR0875A to Erfurt.

When asked what important thing he took with him to Germany, Captain Harry Kane replied: “What did I put in the bag? I'm bored. I have everything I need: an iPad, headphones and some facial moisturizer. His wife will be happy about it.»
He also described the opportunity to win the Golden Boot and lead England to victory at Euro 2024 as a «perfect combination» but said he would still be happy if he failed to score , and “England will bring it home.”
Arsenal's Declan Rice packed up his PlayStation and said: “We all have them, we'd be lost without them.”
He added: “It’s a privilege and an honor and it feels very real right now. This is correct now.
“We want to make history. I know we say this all the time, but we really have a band and a manager who really believe.
“We have confidence that we can go there and do something really special. And, of course, this comes with hard work. That will be the main thing.
“Hard work as a team, unity and cohesion, when everyone is behind us at home, we will definitely feel it.”

The Prince William presented each of Southgate's players with cases containing an England shirt with the player's team number and plaques with the history of those who wore it at major tournaments, as well as match information. -a gift in the style of the program with a picture of the player as a child on the cover.
