Recently, fresh spy photos of the new Bigster crossover were published on the Internet, thanks to which we can imagine what the new product will look like.< /p>
Bigster will be the new and also the largest model in the range of the Romanian brand, owned by Renault. Now it exists only in the form of a concept, which was presented at the beginning of 2021. What will the production version be?

Judging by spy photos of camouflaged samples, the design of the new product will be already familiar from the above-mentioned concept and the third-generation Duster crossover. Moreover, superimposition of photographs of prototypes of the future Bigster on the Duster shows that in many details the crossovers are virtually identical. They have the same wheelbase, door and wheel arch outlines, and door handle placement. Most likely, the Bigster will be an extended version of the younger SUV. The design of the front and rear also looks almost identical, with the exception of small details on the front bumper. There is a possibility that the older crossover will lose massive decorative elements on the front doors. The most significant difference in appearance is the noticeably larger rear overhang, allowing for three rows of seats. In addition, the Bigster may receive a slightly increased roof level, which will also have a positive effect on interior volume. Another new detail is the original design wheels, as on one of the test prototypes.

The Bigster will be built on the same CMF-B platform as other new Dacia models, including the third-generation Duster. The engine range will probably be partially or completely borrowed from the latter, with the exception of the base 100 hp engine. Other options include the TSe 130 mild-hybrid unit with a 1.2-liter petrol turbo engine, as well as the Hybrid 140 with a naturally-aspirated 1.6 petrol engine producing 94 hp. and a 49-horsepower electric motor, total output — 140 hp.

The premiere of the new product is expected during this year.
Meanwhile, last month the updated cross-hatchback Dacia Spring entered the market.
