Unprecedented barriers are being erected for Russian scientists abroad, Putin said

DUBNA (Moscow region), June 13 Regarding Russian scientists in other countries bureaucratic barriers are being erected that have never been seen before, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“As for bureaucratic difficulties, there are enough of them everywhere. In relation to our specialists who come to some countries, such barriers are now being erected, such difficulties are being created that we have never seen before and thought that in democratic countries it was easy impossible, yet this is happening,” Putin said at a meeting with mega-grant recipients and leading scientists, answering the question whether it is possible to consider the possibility of simplifying the visa mechanism for foreign scientists who come to work in the Russian Federation.
The head of state noted that this is a bad example, and Russia is interested in foreign specialists coming to us.
