MOSCOW, June 28 Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) 13 August will hold hearings in the case of the Norwegian ex-football player of «Rostov» and Moscow «Dynamo» Mathias Normann, according to the official website of the court.
It was previously reported that the International Football Federation (FIFA) tribunal ordered Norman to pay Rostov compensation in the amount of 2.9 million euros for early termination of the contract. It was noted that the Saudi Al-Raed, to which the player moved, is jointly and severally liable for this payment. Norman left Dynamo in the summer of 2023, where he was on loan. The rights to the midfielder belonged to Rostov.
CAS hearings will be held simultaneously on three appeals, in which Al-Raed, Rostov, Norman and FIFA are participating.
The Norwegian has been playing in the RPL since 2019, when he moved to Rostov from the English Brighton. In August, the general director of Dynamo Moscow, Pavel Pivovarov, said that Norman left Russia because of drones from Ukraine.
