In the new model year, the SUV has lost its “surname”, and the composition of the trim levels has also been revised. All equipment is the same.
This compact Geely crossover debuted in China last spring under the name Boyue Cool (cool – “cool” in English). In fact, it is a short version of the second generation Geely Boyue L model, which we present as the new Atlas. The “Elka” itself was refreshed in the Middle Kingdom in May. And today sales of the Boyue Cool 2024 model year started there – and now it’s “just” Geely Boyue. Note that the first generation crossover has already left the Chinese market, while in other countries such a five-door is still in service (in particular, in the Russian Federation it turned into the Belgee X70).

The design was not changed. By the way, both the exterior and interior of the former “cool” crossover are designed in the same vein as the Geely Boyue L, although the cars have different bodies. The length of the junior SUV is 4510 mm, width – 1865 mm, height – 1650 mm, wheelbase – 2701 mm. For comparison, the dimensions of the Elka are: 4670/1900/1705 mm, the distance between the axles is 2777 mm.

In the new model year, the short Geely Boyue has expanded the palette of body colors – the shade Aurora Purple has been added. Upholstery of a similar color is provided for the interior, plus you can choose a greenish “skin”. In addition, an optional “black” package has been added: the mirror trim, wheels, spoiler, roof and roof rails located on it will be in this color.

As before, the crossover is available in four trim levels, but their composition has been shaken up in favor of buyers. The basic SUV received electric folding exterior mirrors and a 360-degree camera. The second oldest version features adaptive cruise control, auto braking systems (with pedestrian recognition), lane keeping and traffic jam assistance. Also, starting from the second version, the Geely Boyue now has an electric tailgate (previously only the top version had it).

The reforms did not affect the technology. Geely Boyue is offered with a 1.5 petrol turbo-four with a power of 181 hp. (290 Nm), which is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Front-wheel drive only.
Geely Boyue L (aka the new Geely Atlas in the Russian Federation) and Boyue
The new model year has not made the SUV more expensive – on the contrary, prices have been reduced. For a refreshed Geely Boyue they are asking 92,800 – 118,800 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1.06 million – 1.36 million rubles at the current exchange rate. The former Boyue Cool is still on sale, it costs 99,800 – 125,800 yuan (1.15 million – 1.44 million rubles). Geely has not yet decided to bring a short SUV to export markets.
